Tomás Clavijo is a Madrid based architect and innovation strategist, operating globally through the platform RAFT, where he combines hard facts and cultural strategies to create speculative models for the present.
As an independent consultant, Tomás developed innovation concepts, designs and strategies for clients such as EDF Energy, IKEA’s research lab SPACE10 and Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design. As an architect at the firm group8, he led award-winning teams of architects, engineers and visual artists in numerous international competitions. He also held managerial responsibilities in large-scale sustainable construction projects for the UNO (United Nations Organisation) and the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross).
He holds a Master’s in Architecture from UPC: Barcelona Tech and a Master’s in Innovation Management from UAL: Central Saint Martins where he has also acted as a project manager and guest lecturer. He was a research fellow in The New Normal urban design think-tank, directed by Benjamin Bratton at Strelka Institute in 2018. His self-directed research work was supported by Hong-Kong Design Trust, published in architecture, design and theory journal Ardeth Magazine and exhibited at the Shenzhen 2019 Bi-City Biennale of Architecture and Urban Design, curated by MIT Senseable City Lab director Carlo Ratti.


Katya Sivers is an artist and researcher working at the intersections of design and technology. She addresses contemporary political processes dealing with the issues of sovereignty, infrastructures, protocol systems and standards across the world by collaborative artistic interventions and multidisciplinary design practice. She holds Masters in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Arts (London, UK) and is part of The New Normal 2018 think-tank at Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design (Moscow, Russia). Katya also teaches a course on Graphic design at Stroganov’s Academy of Arts and Design, Moscow, as well as workshops at a number of universities. Her work has been presented at a vast number of exhibitions including 4th Industrial Ural Biennial, 4th Moscow Biennial, 3rd Moscow Biennale of Young Art.
